We welcome you to “For Pets and Pet Lovers,” a place for news and tips concerning your pets.

The “we” here are me, Gary, and my wife, Shirley. We bring a lifetime of pet love and pets — mostly good old house cats, with an occasional “mutt” — to this site, with hopes that some of the stories and tales we share will help you. If you’re a pet lover, too, we welcome you to share your comments and pet tales with us.

Pet care tips we share here are only suggestions and tips based on our experience and what we’ve found. If you have a pet with health or behavioral issues, we strongly urge you to see your local veterinarian. Although our son is seriously dating a wonderful veterinarian, we will not and cannot offer you medical or health care advice for your pets. Our “tips” will hopefully point you in the right direction. But you truly need professional care for your pet “loved ones” if they are experiencing health and medical issues.
