Do you play violin for your cats? Here’s a useful website where you can learn

Let's suppose you have cats, dogs, or whatever pets who DO react happily to violin music (see the previous post on this issue of pets and music) -- do you play the violin? Would you like to play the violin?

I have a "Useful Website" for you whether you play the violin or simply want to play -- the Academy of Music Performance, specifically their violin instruction page, which offers a series of violin lessons via DVDs. They have the Beginner Series (9 lessons), the Intermediate Series (12 lessons), and a Holiday Series (9 lessons). The Beginner DVD Series, according to their website information, "has 4 DVD's packed full with 9 lessons. Over 4 hours of instruction. Includes the music book, fingering charts, and tapes to place on the violin for finger positioning."

Take a look around their website and see what they have to offer. It might reveal the "hidden violinist" you didn't know was inside -- and your cats will love you for it.
