All right. My wife loves to buy fabric. Generally, she tries to buy just enough for a sewing or decorating project -- but she often ends up with scraps or pieces left over that she uses for some really cute kids' craft and cuddle toy items. Even occasional designer upholstery fabric finds its way to an appropriate little project, too.

That's all I really know about fabrics -- but I really like this "Useful Website" for this afternoon because it's interesting to see the wide array of fabrics and patterns at some really nice prices. The website is "Design Diva Fabrics," and I encourage you to go right over there and look at a special offer they have going on right now. The special deal is a sort of "online auction" for beautiful, useful fabrics.

They're calling the deal "Vote Up Count Down." You can see the real-time count down on a selected fabric if you look at the top of this blog post. According to their website, here's how it works to bring you some great deals on some great fabrics:

* Anyone with an account can log in and "Vote Up" as many fabrics as they would like.
* The fabric with the most votes goes onto Count Down mode, where it gets cheaper every second.
* The only thing that can stop a fabric in Count Down mode is someone buying it! It will then be replaced by the fabric with the next most votes.

It's that simple! And you'll get an email notifying you whenever a fabric that you "Voted Up" goes onto "Count Down" mode so you can rush right over to Designer Diva Fabrics and get it.
